24+ Years of Experience
Maia is a Clinical Exercise Physiologist and High Performance Specialist with over 24 years of experience in the health and fitness industry. She has worked with a broad range of clients across the lifespan—from youth athletes to adults focused on long-term health—as well as individuals undergoing exercise therapy and rehabilitation. Her approach is rooted in clinical precision, with a focus on building strength, resilience, and sustainable health outcomes.
Maia specializes in metabolic and VO₂max testing using clinical breath analysis to measure how the body utilizes oxygen and fuel at rest and during exercise. This gold-standard assessment provides a detailed understanding of aerobic capacity and metabolic health—two of the strongest physiological markers linked to longevity and disease risk. By identifying true training zones, fuel utilization patterns, and physiological thresholds, Maia helps clients train with greater precision, improve energy systems, and avoid unnecessary strain or plateaus.
“Maia’s work is grounded in the belief that better data leads to better decisions.”
Maia translates this data into clear, personalized strategies—so clients know exactly how to train, recover, and fuel to support long-term performance, healthspan, and overall vitality.
Her work is grounded in the belief that better data leads to better decisions—whether the goal is improving performance, enhancing healthspan, or optimizing day-to-day energy and recovery.
Outside of her clinical work, Maia is a mountaineer currently pursuing her goal of climbing the Seven Summits, bringing the same discipline, curiosity, and resilience from the mountains into her practice.
